I want to share a fun, unique way that I used to make money with fiverr and now make money on cdbaby.
On fiverr - I made original meditation or hypnosis audios for clients there and was paid anywhere from $50 - $100 per audio.
On Cdbaby - I continue to make residual income years later
* If you use this technique make sure that all music you use is copyright free or original
To mix the music, voiceover, etc...
I used a software program called Sharm. ( I do not have any association with them. I just use the software). If you are good at mixing audios and have another program you like feel free to use it.
So what is Sharm?
It is an audio program designed for hypnotists.
You can add your voice or use one of the voices and suggestions that the software provides.
You add music to the background. There are public domain music clips on the net if you search or you can get an audioblox subscription. (Again not associated with this company just what I have used)
If the client wants it, add wave frequencies like alpha, beta, theta to the mix.
This ended up being my most popular gig and years later I still have clients contacting me.
The only reason that I do not do this anymore is that I have started making them for myself and posting them on cdbaby.
Fiverr Method vs Cd Baby
With the fiverr gig the money is good and you are guaranteed to get paid, as long as you deliver quality work. The only thing that I do not like is that it is one off payments, on the other hand Fiverr does a lot of the marketing for you.
If you want recurring payments then create these under your own brand and post them to cdbaby, which will post them to several marketplaces, including Amazon. The downside on the cdbaby method is that you have to market it.
Anyway, if you are looking for a unique and fun way to make money, give this a try.
