About Me & My Goals For 2018

I joined BHW in Feb 2017 and I just realized I haven't properly introduced my self.

I am from India when I found this forum I thought I can make 1000$ in a month easily with no or little word and was asking people how to make money quickly and also I tried out some methods to earn money online and didn't get any success. coz, I was trying these methods for 3-4 days and leave them thinking they will make me money.But as time progressed I realized it's not get-rich-quick scheme you have to put in an ample amount of effort to achieve your goals.

And I made a big very big mistake this year I bought a 500$ phone even though my family was poor I wanted to fit in with my other friends who have 800$-900$ phones (earlier I had a good android phone). It really broke me up. Now in my family financial problems are occurring just because I was reckless.(Never compare your life to others it really hurts)

The main problem here is the mindset, I read a post or watch a video and get motivated and after 2days same sh*t story, I get demotivated and fail. So can anyone suggest me any good posts or books to read to have that entrepreneur success mindset? just bought "RICH DAD POOR DAD" & "POWER OF YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS MIND"

And Now I have decided to make 10,000$ until the end of 2018.
All this time I was reading new money making posts here in BHW, downloading Paid courses shared by people, and what have I earned? Nothing. It's time to put this knowledge to good use.

Goals for 2k18:
1. Making a personal blog (1 post per week)
2. Making Authority Site (1-2 posts per week)
3. Building my brand on FB, Insta, Twitter, Youtube.
4. Try 1 money making method per month to find what works best for me.
5. Give more than take.
6. Start Shopify Store.

I have gathered an ample amount of data on starting Shopify store and marketing it, and I also have some money (100$) but it's very difficult to get PayPal working here in India. They are not accepting my card anymore. Is there any good alternate Shopify that doesn't require PayPal? I really want to start my store.

I might start my journey soon. need a quick advice if you have made this far 'how is my writing?'
'is it good enough to blog?'.
And I thank BHW from the bottom of my heart for making me realize my mistakes.

good luck, brother i give you advice, just take a good domain from @Nargil - and build on that website, instead of getting new domain and working on it. This will save your time in long run from SEO perspective.

TBH your writing skills is nice. So there shouldn't be any problem with that.
Next, most of the people are creating blogs to make money so make sure your niche is good than others.

Even if you get platfrom like shopify without paypal there is no use because many customer only pays or use via paypal online so not using paypal will set you far back behind your competitors. So, shopify may not be good for you

I recently screwed up my life. Break up and heartbroken. I'm kinda in a same situation like you. Well, my plans are to get out of this shit life and achieve my goals.

Welcome! I'd tell you good luck but, with an attitude like that, you don't need luck. You'll be successful. Your writing is fine, better than most my peers actually and I'm American so, that's saying a lot. I know I saw some courses on Shopify in the downloads earlier today, you might want to check them out. You've got this.

All the best for your goals and don't be sad what you have done in past just be more focused to not to repeat those mistakes.
You can easily get your money back that you've spent on your phone by these goals so just chill and work your ass off, you just have to hustle and you going to achieve for sure.

I've learned good things from your post and I'm following it don't forget to update it.

I got into shopify few times before. Failed every time. I might not be the right person to give an advice but listen, do a good research on the product you want to promote. Make a plan before you start a free trial, or even better, you can setup your webshop on wordpress. Shopify is way too expensive with 100$ budget. You can get wp hosting on namecheap for 8$ for the first year, and check for some expired domain.

Also, it's gonna take more time with low budget, but there are free ways you can advertise so you can save up some additional money. I personally tried with pinterest for a little less then a month and it started to get me 3-4 visits a day to my website. Instagram is a good source even tho you need some kind of social proof so you might need a bot to follow/unfollow people and start gaining some engagement before you gain some traffic. FB groups are a great source of traffic but you have to take care of the content you post. Post only high quality stuff, people doesn't like spam. You can also answer niche/product related questions on yahoo answers or on quora, it's a great source of traffic (often low converting) for A/B testing. It can be done, don't loose the hope. I am still struggling with all these stuff, but I hope this helped. Good luck!

Your writing skills are actually pretty good. I suggest you to try some of the pinterest money making methods. Even if you dont make it in Pinterest, the account is always going to be very very helpful in future for promotions of your article. Just try Pinterest. If not then you can always start crypto trading. Its not that hard but you gotta read and study a lot about crypto. Good Luck with achieving your goals fam!

Thanks for the advice mate, I actually got a domain and shared hosting for personal blog, installed WP, applied Theme will make logo and other graphic stuff for the site tomorrow and may also write my first blog
