Hi.
I'm very new, so I apologize if I post on the wrong forum, or on the wrong forum section. I used KAT for that kind of questions before it dies.
My question is very newbie. So tell me if you can help me in anyway, or if I must ask it somewhere else, and where.
This is my problem:
I use a social site called Diigo, I have been a subscriber, but now I use their free plan. I don't plan to subscribe again monthly right now, because of other priorities, but I still need greatly this service.
They offer upgraded free plans if someone can prove that he or she works in education, and the proof they want is having an email address with the .edu domain. I didn't manage to figure out how to get that kind of email address. I seached the Internet, but all the tricks are dead now. I'm sure that tricks do exist.
I can't use my Diigo account anymore because they blocked it by a popup window. Each time I go to my library (the place where my links are stored) now they prevent me to use this list by showing a popup window blocking the use of the page.
I tried some browser extensions to block/unblock Javascript, to kill this window, but it seems that the library page doesn't even load on my browser when Javascript is not enabled.
So, what is the trick to bypass this popup showing the "you are over quota" warning message, and letting me use my account?
They never warned about that, and blocked my account sudenly, that is specially unfair.
They didn't managed well their quota feature, letting people to go over their quota, and now blocking everything. I can't even delete highlights to go under my quota. It's blackmailing, I pay to upgrade my account, or I simply lose the use of it.
Thank you for help, it's very needed. It sounds not very important, but for me as I didn't find another service like Diigo, with highlights and bookmarking, it is.
