I had meant put it to the web 2.0 and then link that to your money site.
You're the fking man, the way you explained it literally made so much sense. I'm definitely about to try this method. Also, in regards to @JimR comment, I think he is saying money site << web 2.0 << tier 1 301 << tier 2 301 - let me know if I'm mistaken (money site being last of course - tier 2 being at the bottom of your link pyramid basically)
All i can say is 60% of my backlink profile comes in web 2.0 . And it will never hurt. Concentrate about web 2.0 more than 301s. My biggest problem is how to automate web 2.0.
haven't found reliable tool yet for that.
What are you trying to automate with them?
Thanks for the kind words.
Yep that's the structure I'd recommend. However the final tier would be tier 3 which is GSA links.
Do you recommend using RX? I've heard good reviews, and its best for tier 1 - then GSA for tier 2 and 3? Thoughts? I'm trying to structure what I will do once I have enough capital to invest.
I'm not sure what RX is, sorry. Well tier 2 is the second set of 301s and tier 3 is GSA links.
RankerX, its software similar to GSA, but for Web 2.0 and tier 1 links
What is the advantage of using 301 instead of using GSA on T2?
And how do you create these 301?
Having tiers of 301s helps to build up link juice as mentioned above.
I make tier 1 manually using proxies and then tier 2 with software and proxies. The software can be bought on here, and I also make and sell the 301s on Fiverr.
But what if we skipped 301 and built GSA links directly to our T1 web20?
The web 2.0 could be penalised badly. I tried this recently with a few different sites and they tanked.
1. I thought web20 can handle a lot of spam links..
2. Are those 301 redirects created with GSA? Do we need any list for this?
1. They can, but when you're hitting them with 100k links and it's a new property, it's not going to go well. It'll not be taken down, but you'll be on page 8 etc so it's less than useless.
2. No, I don't use GSA at all. I outsource the GSA link blasts and make my 301s with 301 Nuke. I've found the 301s made in GSA to be pretty shite from ones I received as a test and they don't last long at all.
I just wanted to reach out and say thanks for reading my blog and thanks for pointing this out to me even though it took me a while to workout what you were referring to but I think I have worked it out. This is the manual web 2.0 service I use for my submissions from the BST right here on BHW, when you click their affiliate program link in the top right it signs you up to a program on another domain where each package is more expensive rather than one that domain.
The links on my blog have been updated to direct links to the service and if you know a service that is cheaper than that one for manual web 2.0 submissions could you share it here? I am on track for placing over $1000 worth of manual web 2.0 submissions over the coming months so would be happy to try out other service providers if it could reduce costs. (Any randoms inboxing me saying they can do it who are not Jr VIPS will be reported).
Hey @Shaunm so glad you came round here and put some input, I've been following you for about 3 days now and read your whole GSA guide (most in-depth I've ever seen) I've also been following your "Growing a Money Site Network" post and I'm on day 22 now! The things I'm learning from your content are great, I knew it just took a little bit of digging to really find those proper guides. All in all - round of applause because you are truly posting some of the highest quality stuff around here - so thank you for everything.
A few questions I have:
- what VPS provider do you use?
- what proxies do you recommend?
- where do you get your emails for RX and GSA?
- what tools do you use to analyse how your sites are doing - and how do you know when to give your sites some more juice or not?
Cheers pal, means alot .
I list all the tools and services I use in this post for my VPS' and proxies and such. Regarding emails I use catch alls for non contextual and some contextual projects in SER, for RX and some SER contextual I use a guy called email wizard on Fiverr.
I'm not 100% sure what you mean about analysing my sites but I track their growth is SERPLab and Google Analytics, once you get to the more recent posts in my journey you will see how SERPLab is able to show a bunch of SERP rises on a number of pages .
I am definitely following this!
Working on similar thing as well as a total SEO noob
