Some lazy humans aren't too much behind, but they do need to eat and shit that's why they wake up otherwise there are a lot of examples.

Snails live 2 to 5 years. Imagine a snail that wakes up after 3 years while everyone else was awake!

That snail thing sounds like someone trying to recover their main website.

An SEO doesn't leave their house for 3 years which is the average time it takes to get back on the track in SERPs.

At that point every other human being they used to know is wondering whether they are dead or just went insane.

I am a fish, I know very well my fellow submarine creatures and also the ones living among you "humans"
