Yes, G2A is a legit site. Try asking some sellers if they can give you discount for bulk orders.

How are your plans for selling retail? eBay or making your own store? I'm also considering doing this.

I used to run several ckdey shopts (biggest was making 400k€ sales per month).
If you buy from G2A/Kinguin, you wont make any margin. Suppliers are directly selling on these platforms, then you have the commission of the website, payment fees, etc.
Cdkey business is not so profitable, if you add fraud issues, supplier issues, some PSPs block your funds, many CS requests, high cost for acquisition.

Feel free to ping me in private if needed
Good luck with the shop

I heard about G2A in 2015 and never really thought it would work out. Turns out I was wrong all along... I often see people make good bang either on G2A or from G2A to eBay. Damn.
Still room for new folks or ?

Where would you get your supply for your shops?

Direct connections with some publishers, resellers from Russia (before 2014, then Steam started to apply a region lock), wholesales based in Middle East/Eastern Europe (they buy in bulk from publishers as well or buy in bulk on marketplace and get a deal). No easy at all nowadays, I left the market before seeing big stores killing the competition on the market by decreasing the prices (= selling with losses)

Hey guys, just a heads up with G2A->eBay, be aware that LOADS and I mean LOADS of people will try to scam You. They buy, pay, wait a few days and open PayPal unauthorized transaction claim. That means customer pretends that "somebody was using his card to pay for this item". In order to win this claim, you will need a working tracking number, and the tracking number must say DELIVERED within the estimated delivery time. Let's not forget that You just sold virtual product. Ofcourse there are solutions to this, however loads of highscool kids wants to play for free.. Just be careful!

By the way, the claim could take up to 180 days (no joke, happened to me lol). Just a tip, you can try sending empty letter with tracking to the address that was given by the buyer, You could win that claim by doing that if letter comes in time lol! Just my 2 cents, be careful ebay and PP does not like You selling virtual products.

Good luck making a nice buck ♥

Hi ! Do we have to be careful with this while selling on G2A, or is it safe as they're only selling codes?

Hello, I have no experience selling on G2A. It could be that the platform is not known as eBay and there's less scammer. However I'm sure that they have some kind of protection in place from these kind of scams, otherwise it would be scamming goldmine. Contact G2A customer service and ask this question. They should be able to answer. PayPal unauthorized transaction claim is a dirty dirty scam...

G2A is surprisingly strict when it comes to sellers... Which is not that surprising because they are virtual item marketplace. G2A does a lot of seller verification so I believe they are more likely to side with the seller than a random buyer. Especially when the seller has good past history.

if you are selling on G2A, it's Fine you have a Protection there, i have Seen even a Sellers who are scamming buyers in their platform, a lot of complaining on youtube, so i think if there is away they can get back the money they would do, the risk is if you tried to buy G2A Stuff on Ebay you have No protection as Ebay&Paypal Provides 0 Protection on Digital Services.

Edit : G2A Sellers Scam Buyers By duplicating the keys, they are selling keys for more than 1 time, so some keys are working on only 1 device and it cant work twice.

Keys cannot be sold twice on G2A. If you try to sell a key that has been sold on G2A your auction will get locked.

So if I understand correctly, the business of buying and selling digital keys is not dead, but difficult to get into nowadays?
