Does the age of social media tools matter?

    So, long story short. I got a website and a Facebook page for this website. Every article I post on the website is shared on this page. In the past few weeks, I saw that usually, the Facebook page appears a lot higher in the results than the website itself. And this is not the only odd thing I ve seen. It seems that, for certain keywords, my Facebook page ranks better than some well established news websites...

    This got me wondering. It has never happened before. Can it be because the FB page is now a little old, so it got some...more authority than a newly created one? If that would be the case (the older the FB Page is, the higher it can rank in Google), it would be wonderful, because I got some pages I made back in 2013 which I could use for different projects. :))
