one thing i don't like about fivver customers is the one that does not read, proceed with the payment, and then they don't answer when you ask them to adjust the request because they ask for things that the gig do not offer, for example, I offer for the basic gig data by US City and I explain in detail what I offer but there is always the customer that buys the basic gig and request all the information form the entire country, that hurt my business because I won't deliver the service and I have to request them to cancel the service and that really hurt my score, anyway that something that I don't like

That's why many sellers say "message me before orderring the gig."

Man I had a bad experience with fiverr similar to what you described. Had someone pay for a gig to do on page SEO and kw research. After completing the gig, he goes “oh sorry my business partner just told me we don’t need that stuff done anymore, instead can you do XYZ?”

So I said sure, and basically did more work for free. Then he does it again, asking for my stuff that I don’t even offer in my gig. I tell him I can only provide what’s in the gig description and he refuses to pay. In the end, fiverr agrees that he owes me the money and pays me. Then fiverr proceeds to ban my account. What a joke of a site.

3100 tokens used = 6 Cents cost + 10 minutes of my time.

Buyer accepted immediately and left a 5* review. Profit $15,94. Fun.

Congrats! I m also fiverr seller and I think that competition is good because it forces you to become better. My gigs always have traffic because I provide good services. There is always space for new sellers who are passionate about their work.

I am not sure if that's true but I have given away several orders just to prevent any complaints, i just update my description to contact me before order, please be advised that there won't be returns if you dont contact me to explain the gig service, hopefully that will give me some power with fiver support In case any issue

No, I increased my pricing after I gained enough confidence in the quality of my work and had enough returning buyers to risk not getting new ones... Once I had 3-5 returning buyers at a fair price, I increased the cost by x10

But when you increased your price by 10 times, how did you explain to your returning customers? You weren't worried about they might complain about the high price and leave?

I offer the service at the same price to them... once I got 4 - 5 new high-paying clients, I let them know of the increase and they mostly negotiated something closer to my current rate. Gave a discount because they were already using my services.

Those who couldn't afford it had to bid them farewell.

I once wrote 10 articles for $150 for a client... the same client agreed to pay $200 for each article recently. You just gotta know your worth on Fiverr else you'll attract cheap clients... The quality of your service and the value it brings must reflect the cost though, or else you'll get shadow-banned after your first high-ticket client.

If you know how to market your gigs, then Fiverr is an awesome platform to earn money. Fiverr is the biggest online marketplace for gigs. Those who say that they do not or did not earn via Fiverr, are people who were or are not capable enough to market their gigs good enough and then they say "Fiverr sucks", etc.
Competition ? competition is high everywhere these days, not just in Fiverr. You want no competition then quit doing any business, go find a job, but to get a job again there is competition and again even to maintain a job you need to compete with others to be a top performer. Face the competition or just perish.

business is business, If you are getting regular orders from fiverr maybe 2-5 orders a day, and if any client or customer is not happy with You. dont fight with him and issue him a refund straightaway , fighting with him and leading to dispute can put your account in danger.
Treat it as a business.

I have a account on Fiverr, I have had several listings (albeit higher priced) and got some impressions and DM''s but no sales.

I see a lot of people monetizing with bots now and in the past couple years even from the buyer orders Ive made. Ive seen AI spun content, AI generated logos, AI produced copy and more being passed off as labor intensive.

Did you pad reviews at first?

Well this is a troll sale, but the buyer was happy with the money paid, probably if he thinks a bit he should be aware.

Fiverr indeed used to be great, and really a hobby like marketplace back in the days. My lady used to work there, with all her real details, doing Voice overs, fan signs, videos, whatever not. Was a good bank for her, and a nice thing to do directly from phone a decade ago. But, I think the Fiverr team themselves ruined legit sellers like this, letting scammers open fake disputes, that affect your rank, etc. while on the other hand, jeets have multiple accounts that offer shit services, and they can't build a proper interface to purge these or keep them away
