How long does it take for you to rank a typical GMB?
I have seen a competitor GMB appear one day and it was ranking in top 3 in 1 week
- It was an exact match domain (service + city)
- No citations i could find
- Only 5 reviews
I am certain they were using CTR manipulation or something else to rank, i was in position 5 with a branded GMB, 10 reviews and months of working on it.
Can you do what my competitor did?

1. We are doing CTR stuff with help of Micro worker.
Some time ago, i ready these two courses
Brock Misner - Ranking Google Business Profiles through Data Manipulation and User Engagement
Chris Palmer - CTR and Traffic Manipulation Network Traning
we are going to apply them as well, Let us see how it goes.
2. Can you do what my competitor did?
Yes, we are doing it. With the help of GMB crush, we make the strategy and work accordingly.
3. Yes.. I saw the same
But, at this point of time, we don't have that Knowledge.
we are doing few things
- GMB content update
- Link building
- CTR
- Reviews
We are able to rank on tough niche like Lock smith. But... we need around 30 to 45 days to rank gmb's.
We are learning and adopting.
I m sure that we will give even quicker results very soon.

I have a bunch of GMBs, they are in home services (tree service, concreting, landscaping, etc) in Australia, in cities with less than 300,000 people. Half of them are branded, and half are exact match domains (service + city, so they dont have good branding).
If i was to give you one as a test, could you rank it?
- Most are already doing ok, they are position 5,6,7,8, that sort of thing. So close but still not there.
- If i give you one and it goes well i can send you more to do.
- What is your rate as well?
