This is awesome.

I like how you use Reddit to find new keywords that people ask on that platform.

I've used this technique before and it has yielded some nuggets.

The key to keyword analysis, if I may add, is search intent.

It's one thing to find a low-difficulty keyword using Reddit that has a decent monthly search volume.

But you shouldn't end your keyword analysis there.

You should go one level deeper.

Put yourself in the shoes of somebody entering that keyword or posting that phrase on Reddit.

Get inside their mind.

What kind of information would they be looking for?

What kind of experience do they want to walk away with?

This is how you filter your keyword list in such a way that you build a solid domain authority relatively quickly.

But if you're just looking to find easy to rank keywords and don't really care about the content that you produce, it's going to be a crapshoot. Sometimes you win, most of the times you miss.

This is very solid advice.

Keyword intent is very important if you're looking for quality traffic that converts.

If you're just running adsense or something similar and don't really care about conversions I guess it doesn't matter.

The difference for an affiliate site between a general keyword and one with a bit of intent is often going from a value of $0.50 or less to $5 or more per unique visitor.

I would rather have 1500 unique visitors that are highly targeted than 10,000 random visitors without the intent I'm looking for.

Excellent post. I have used SEMRush in both my professional and personal projects, all of which gave very valuable insights.

Hello BHW.
This is a twist from a method shared by @RealDaddy and the method involves scraping keywords from auto-generated content sites such as Reddit, Quora, and Forums.

What you do is find the keywords these auto-generated content sires are ranking for in the top 10 and then write articles to target those keywords.

I'll be using Reddit for this guide but you can apply the same strategy to find keywords from Quora and Niche relevant forums.

This is not a completely free method because it requires the use of paid keyword research tools. I'll be using SEMRush for this guide but you can use other tools like AHRefs.

BHW has a https://www.blackhatworld.com/account/partnerships and you can get a 30-day free trial and then cancel after you are done.

For the purpose of this guide, I'm going to pretend I have a site about Leather boots. I'll also link to the report if anyone is interested in starting a site around leather boots.

Anyway, the first thing to do is open SEMRush/your keyword tool and type reddit.com in the "DOMAIN OVERVIEW" Section and click on "View all Organic Keywords" under top organic keywords
View attachment 210317
This will display all the keywords the site is ranking for but our focus is to find keywords in our niche that Reddit is ranking for in the top 10. So we need to narrow down our search.

Now click on Advanced Filters > Include keyword containing > your target keyword (leather boots in my case) > Click Apply
View attachment 210318
Next, we need to exclude all keywords that include the word "Reddit" because people use them if they want results from Reddit only and you will have a hard time ranking for them.

To do that, Click on advanced filters and then "Add condition"

Now exclude keyword containing > Reddit.
View attachment 210321
Next, we need to include only keywords that are ranking in the top 10.
So click on Positions > top 10
View attachment 210322
You can also filter the search intent to further narrow down your search.

Here's what we got:

Export to CSV and write content around these keywords.

You can repeat the same process for Quora and forums in your niche.

That's it guys. Let me know what you think about this method.
Leave a thumbs up if you like this guide.
