If you are new, use the hosting that comes with the domain name purchase. I usually use vouchers on stablehost, it's very cheap.
If you know how to manage, you can use VPS: vultr, Digital ocean...

Before choosing the web hosting company, understand your website requirements. what is the purpose of building the website ? is this your business website or blogging website or any personal website.
once you will get an idea of this then you can choose your hosting provider easily.

here is the simple checklist you can follow while choosing a hosting provider
1. are they provide any free trials on hosting plans?
2. are they offering 24/7 technical support
3. check server uptime and reliability
4. Data security
5. Check bandwidth and storage
6. Read the reviews of hosting company

Hello,

Choosing the right web hosting company is essential for your website's success. They are responsible for your website's speed, reliability, and security. However, with so many options out there for web hosting companies, it can take time to know which one is the best fit for you. Nevertheless, there is a set of crucial factors which you should consider while going for a web hosting company.

- Pricing
- Disk Storage
- Bandwidth
- Server Performance
- Uptime
- Technical Support
- Scalability
- Security Features
- Additional Features

These are the factors to consider. Of course, the cost is always an essential factor that matters to us, but you also need to consider the company's reputation and customer service. Also, I would suggest you look at the reviews shared by their customers. It would help you build trust in them, and you can also compare your desired service provider to others in terms of pricing and features. It would be beneficial for you to make your decision even better.

Why? I think I read some threads here if you're blogging that is using black hat method than don't use the same company for hosting and domain registration but what if the website is just for local business website using white hat method? Still no?

Freedom!
That's all.

When you keep your domain with your hosting company you actually rely on them 100%.

What if you don't like their service and what to cancel and move to a different hosting?

To transfer domain you have to pay for one more year and you can't always transfer it and it must be unlocked.

Get your domain from namecheap, open free cloudflare account, direct it to the cloudflare and then to your hosting ip. When you want to change hosting you just change the ip. Plus you get many other benefits from cloudflare for free.
