You have an inspiring story, continue the good work.
What platforms like medium do you use if it's not a secret?About a year ago, I shared a post like this. I had $2000 in my pocket when I shared this post and frankly it was a huge amount for me and still is. Unfortunately, I could not achieve all of the goals I mentioned in my article, but I will certainly reach them one day, I am sure of that.

A lot has happened in this one year. I could not fully understand the job of opening a website and generating advertising revenue that I mentioned in my article. I have no idea about SEO and I couldn't spend much time in this area to improve myself. One month after I started my adventure, I completely threw away the idea of earning income with Adsense or affiliate marketing.
If you ask me, one should do a job that he knows, and there was one job that I knew, seizing opportunities. Last year was a generally downward year for the cryptocurrency markets. But as those who trade in the cryptocurrency markets will know, it is possible to profit from price losses with leveraged trading, which is how I did it. This is definitely a very risky business because if the market does not go in the direction you think you can face serious losses. Until the first day of 2022, I did not lose a single cent from any of my trades. But every good thing has an end.
On the day we stepped into 2022, my $2000 holding had reached $7000, well above my goal of making $150 a month. But things were not going quite the way I wanted for the next two months. As I stated, leverage is a gamble at the end of the day, and I've become a gambler. I made my first loss on January 1, 2022. Although I recovered from time to time over the next 2 months, my loss continued and I lost 2000$.
At the end of February, I thought that it should not go like this and withdrew all my money from the exchanges. It was a tragic but valuable experience for me. And vowing not to gamble, I started looking for new business ideas. I started out as an editor, I'm very interested in history, economics and politics, and I thought it should be more than just a hobby. It would be nice if what I spent a few hours a day researching could make me money, and it did. I started writing about what's going on in the world on a few mass blogs like Medium. Some of these were websites that offered direct donations to the user, and I started to earn income thanks to the articles I wrote.
I am currently publishing my articles on 3 platforms like medium. I have about 200 followers and earn an average of 150 dollars per month, which is exactly the amount I was aiming for. In periods when there were many topics to be written, such as the Russia-Ukraine war, this income amounted to 400 dollars per month. I am not earning any income on medium for now, most of my income comes from two other big blogs. I cannot write short niche articles because I have no experience with SEO. The articles I write mostly consist of long research articles. (around 1000-1500 words)
I haven't fully achieved my goal of reading books, but I'm definitely reading more books than before. This has become a part of my job as I need knowledge to be able to use it in articles. I haven't made much progress in furthering my English education, but my English pronunciation and speaking style have definitely improved.
So what has changed in my life in the past 1 year? Well... too many things. First of all, I live in a country where there is an economic crisis. The domestic currency is losing its value every day and this is making life more expensive. Thanks to the things I've done in the last year, I was able to send my parents on vacation for the second time in their lives. I get almost no pocket money from my family, and I usually spend the money they give to pay the bills. My dressing style has changed, I dress visibly more neatly.
I stopped being a culturally hollow person because I read more books, I turned into a self-confident person because I improved myself in various fields. A year ago, I was someone who didn't want to have much contact with very introverted people, but I turned into someone who enjoys hanging out with their friends and has a never-ending conversation. I learned to save money, I realized that I should not spend every penny of the income I earn, but invest in order to use it when and where it is needed. For those who don't know, I'm a dentistry student and I want to open my own clinic after graduation. With the money I earned last year, I can afford 20% of my clinic.
My goal for the coming years:
-Diversify your income sources.
-Keep earning a minimum of $150 per month.
-Reach 1000 blog readers.
-Create a youtube channel about your blog posts and reach 1000 subscribers.
-Dude, you should exercise.
