Yes! So I'm going to start an affiliate website. I have extensive experience in the field of SEO but never really took the time to start an affiliate website. Now that I have some more time, I think this would be a fun experiment.
The approach is somewhat unfamiliar to me. So I thought it would be fun to share my progress here and take advantage of your advice

As mentioned, this will be my first affiliate website. I don't have high expectations, but would like to gain more knowledge in the affiliate world.
Do you have any advice for a starter?

My plan
- Focus on 1 product
- Target country "The Netherlands, dutch, Google.nl"
- First conquer good organic positions and only then start the affiliate campaign
What I've done so far:
- Built a simple but fully optimized WordPress website
- Halfway through writing an extensive homepage text
What else I want to do:
- Create multiple subpages about this product
- Link building, this is the part I dread the most. I find it difficult to get good backlinks. I'm willing to spend money on this, but good packages on this forum are often aimed at English-language websites.
