No, it is my own biz, but I always start my businesses with many roles, but later want to release those roles to others as I scale, so i plan on the payouts from the start. As time goes on, I "remove" myself, and take a smaller percentage or a larger revenue. As I said, my numbers will mean nothing.. but the ie: structure for me if it were an oversimplified pie chart...

OK, I am just going to vomit out a bunch of stuff that will either scare you away, intrigue you, confuse you, or deem me mad and/or an idiot. Just peruse and see if this is a follow or forget about it journey...


Just some agenda points:

• I run windows10 in a VM for scrapebox, browser automation studio, and power automate. This will be implemented in this journey at some point. Do not let that mislead you into thinking that you can CMD or PowerShell your way through this.... I live a Unix-like life.
• Cloud computing is popular, but I live on the edge... so to say... we will be installing a multi time zone K8S cluster to base this project on but will not be using scaling cloud services initially but installing on bare V-metal. I will only pay a buck an hour for scaling that pays for itself.
• This is not a single method journey. I am sharing a base of tech that can fit almost any product/genre. Just a few of the "tactics" books I would have to write for this...

Which programming language/Toolset should you learn first?


I have never learned to program in any specific language. I have always approached programming as the skillset, and the language as merely a tool. No one becomes a "hammer specialist" before framing on the job....

I will have to hit w3c up to correct an unordered list in html and then bang out some obscure sed/awk/perl mess by heart into my term to complete something I know it does..... makes no sense if you look at it in the usual language fluency paradigm.

If you have 4 years to learn a specific code set for a boss you want to sign your checks for the next n years... then do NOT take my advice....

Fuck a language.... what's the problem? The language you learned on sololearn might not be the right tool for that problem.

Look at the word vomit in the above update... think you got time to know all that in the depth needed to be considered "fluent" enough to head off a corporate project on paper for each and every item listed?

Some truly are. Some aren't but have a team that does. I am not. I do not. So if you are new to the power button on your PC, have a masters in neural network technologies that you piloted, or anywhere in between... if you can cut and paste, you can code.

This will give you a minimal core Debian system with only standard utilities and an SSH server, a minimal KDE desktop and my own opinionated selection of swaps I make to feel more at home.

The data exported in between installation sets will give you a small set of snapshots that are simple to reference and a lot lighter than slogging through all the docs of all the apps.

Now you have a core system reference template. There is plenty of non-repo software to come, so if it seems really minimal for the battles described above, have no fear. Small and documented steps are your friend.

When the time comes to really get to work on some content, the above workstation when filled out should do the job... on to the Public facing Infrastructure...

Now that we have "Work" station, it is time to do some work. Over and over again, I hear the question... How do I do keyword research?

Often This question leads to the creation of a BWH SEO research tools thread (and there are some good tools), but I feel that this often leads someone with true research goals far away from the intended target and off instead on a feature hunt without knowing the needs or uses of any of the features. So I will answer this a little differently. We all learn different. Maybe my method will work for you.

I start by breaking down my keyword project needs into a few scholastic types;

1. Entity - Think of this as anything "fillable" like a field on a webpage or a empty field in your CRM...
2. String - This is the text representation of values that relate to Entities
3. Vocabulary - List, a topic header string and related strings
4. Taxonomy - Group of lists and single strings that complete a genre of information germane to a domain
5. Ontology - Your overreaching umbrella of semantics used to define, describe and classify your domain

That is a about as specific as I get before I start collecting standard (not thinking IM but business planning related) research data and decide on a marketing trend to pursue...

Pull out a pen and paper and start explaining your business domain as you do online research (books, videos, whatever you like), not in full articles of text and images , but as single entities, strings, lists, and groups. Skip the GBs of BHW downloads and whitepaper signups for now. Just search. click, search, jot, smoke, search. After a while the various info-types will all need reshuffling, combining, splitting and reordering to make better sense to the untrained eye as well as the expert... Before your wife kicks you out of the house and before you feel the need for string and pushpin involvement...

plop all of the data into a business entity template mind map using FreePlane. I have a scaffold business entity template I developed for this very thing. I will share it in the next update (after I remove some project specific data from it).

To the seasoned I have probably explained less than nothing. To one with no direction I have pointed and pushed. Will everyone laugh as you realized you were just hurled into a wall... or will trust an honor save the day?... stay tune for the next update of..... whatever... I need a cigarette. BBS.

Here is a skeleton view of my base template... only a few areas I left populated, just to give you the gist... The endgame map probably usually rolls out to about 100 full tree views with this being a branch of one with 20 to the tree view. And of course you get them all tied into a spaghetti ball before you find a sane way to make sure IT ALL makes sense as a tree flow, just part of the process....



speaking of little maps, I would like to interject here another useful tool to keep track of the dependencies to the various apps that you install on your systems using the install output lists above...
Gist to make two tier deep dependency graphs for your notes.

append an executable sh with this to the workflow of the gist...

Funnel your install lists to a folder of depgraphs...

Want to remove the dupes from each snapshot folder?
try this AWKful piece

This seems like a side step, but trust me, having a folder of depgraph visuals and a cup of coffee can make our future container work planning a breeze.

Had fun writing, but I will need to provision some servers sometime... get a library card folks. Seriously, if you have access, grab it... we will be using it to mine for my million $ (and yours too if you wish).
