Not much to report. It's still pretty much the same. I'll be publishing some rewritten articles this month. I'll also get my VA to use Jasper to write another 100 articles.

Traffic has been more or less flat. I went through the analytics and the top 50 or so pages (based on page views) are from the first batch of content that I published when I initially started the site. The stuff that I published later hasn't really gained any sort of traction. I'll probably delete/redirect some of the pages that aren't getting any traffic or impressions.

It goes flat. Try adding some more backlinks to start seeing growth potential.

The site got hit by one of the algo updates. The loss of traffic has nothing to do with links. I avoid building links as far as possible. Most of the links are crap and don't work. The ones that do work are very expensive and not worth it for test sites like these.

Do you use any mark ups? I am having pretty good results with FAQ 10 questions with ai 1-5 Google faqs.

I use rankmath and it puts the FAQ in the schema as well as the breadcrumbs. I been testing khas to be 10 or more questions or the g con won't pick it up. I have been toying with article vs news article schema as well.

So you're adding 10 FAQ.
I assume with 1-5 Google faqs you're refering to PAA, what about the remaining 5 questions?

They are 10 chatgpt generated questions and answers then 1-5 Google suggest depends on how different they are from the AI generated.

Did you get smacked with this last update? I got a big Vday F you lol. I went from 400 impessions a day to 1-3.... I dono what to do it was going so well lol
The fist thing I noticed was what I though google consule not updating the impessions it would get to 160ish and just feeze may have a couple more here or there. That was about 3 days before the 14th then on the 14th stopped I had to look to make sure all my articles were still indexed... Some pages had randomly been just falling off index before that as well.

I’m sorry to hear that. I just checked and doesn’t look like the site has been hit this month. I’ll have a better idea at the end of the month.

Why was it hit if it was not because of the links?
It was hit by the algo update. Not sure what they were targeting with that update.
A lot of sites got hit during that update.

why u still need for VA a to create articles in jasper while u can use ur own coded script to generate in bulk using GPT3 or similar tools.
For this site, I'd like to publish articles that are researched and fact checked. Especially for topics like I have on this site, it's impossible for GPT-3 to know the right answers.
I have all sorts of different sites with different content creation methods. I still have multiple sites where I publish only human written content even though I can create thousands of AI articles a day.
Update:
