Thanks, mate.

I hope your mother is doing better.

Meanwhile, thanks for the update and the girl drawing is pretty neat!

Good luck further on!

Many Thanks. Somehow she is better, but things ain't that good tho.
I appreciate it.

Sup. Unexpectedly, got paid by Society6 today:

79989b63759d96bbe97f2ae33d2cb5ad.png

Total designs uploaded: 64/1000 (6.4% journey completion)
Total money earned: $53.71

Why unexpected?
1. I never got an email notification.
2. I dropped this website because of the slow uploading process.
3. I uploaded just 4 designs on it before the drop.

Actually, I'm very pleased with its margin, so I'm about to reconsider not only it, but also the whole thing about online presence.
I mean to return to the concept from the beginning of this journey, which is to upload as many designs to as many marketplaces as I can.

About the point where I am (well, yeah, I'm a bit slow for some reasons):

- Finished setting up 4 niche IG accounts (besides personal). Scheduled some content, and one of them performing really well with it. I'll start to warm up them for F/uF in 3-4 days.

- Created 4 niche twitter accounts (and 1 personal). I'll do the same method with it. I know it is somehow different from IG and Twitter traffic isn't good at all, but it's fun to test new things, so I'm looking for the results. I'm scheduling content for the next 2 weeks atm.

- I'm also looking for creating Pinterest and Youtube accounts too.

- Still learning the art. Maaaan, the deeper I dig into it - the more I need to learn. Spare me damn, I'm too old for this :weep:
giphy.gif

- I'm planning to create some ifttt rings and google stacks for redbubble parasites, so yeah. After I'm done setting up twitter and creating Pinterest / YT accounts, I take my time in this field too.

- I begin to upload things again right after I finish building this foundation.

- Also, I pondered for a while about the fact, that certain marketplaces are good for certain things, and POD isn't all about t-shirts. It's just like I wrote before about certain things suitable for certain people. Both ideas feel the same and right.

Alright. I know some of you can ask why the heck I'm doing all this sh*t, but hey, some sales been made here, some there, and this is real proof of the concept about online presence. It IS better to be everywhere than just focus on one marketing channel.

It works for me, so I must scale it as far as I can. But before scaling, building a good foundation is a top priority.

Well, that's it for today, stay safe and healthy. I'll be back soon.

I've been following your journey since the beginning. Really interesting!

Do you upload to instagram manually? Are you following any guide for the google stacks thing?

Cheers.

Nah, I started to abuse trials of social media management tools (google this phrase for list). There are plenty of them offering 14 to 30 days for free, so yeah.

IFTTT SEO v2 (https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/get-bradley-benner-ifttt-seo-academy-2-0.1192881/), also there is plenty of info here on BHW:

Good for you ;)
But very BAD... for many Buyers....

Tons of Negative feedback from customers

Not trying to be pessimistic here. But at least some of you might need to know.

I'm actually completely fine in this case. And here is why:

1. Society6 is a marketplace with a crapload of traffic. It's one of the biggest and eldest in POD.

2. It has almost 2 million unique visitors per month. Sorry, Cindy, but this phrase "But very BAD... for many Buyers" is actually a little inaccurate in this case. On Trustpilot there are just 467 reviews. About half of them complaining. But hey, here is another example: https://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/society6.com 4.45/5 and 1.3k reviews with a really good overview and 2017 Customer Choice Winner.

Why the heck I should be worried about minority complaining about defective goods when any product can be defective?
So what so serious about 230 people got defective goods from a marketplace that sells tens of thousands of products per month?

3. I got paid. S6 has a 30-day, hassle-free return policy. It means, the customer didn't complain and was satisfied with the quality of the product.

As it said, it's better to be unbiased and objective towards the reputation websites. Anything can be defective. Most of the people will complain about defective goods because they need to express displeasure somewhere or blame something, while the least people will praise the good quality and express their satisfaction.

To put it simply, people more willing to blame than to praise.

P.s. there is a reverse example - oh so blamed teechip:
https://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/teechip.com - 2.4k reviews, a very poor overview despite the average rating.
https://www.trustpilot.com/review/teechip.com - 14k reviews, 4 stars, great.

Just a suggestion:
MerchTitans have an automation tool that uploads the design to different major POD site.
You should give it a shot.

Small update:

1) All main social media accounts set up. I'm going with IG, Twitter, YT, and Pinterest 5 accounts each. 1 personal and 4 niches.
2) Scheduled content for IG and twitter for the next 2 weeks. I won't create content for YT and Pinterest before I finish the next step.
3) Starting tomorrow I'll work on my content syndication networks, 2 main networks for redbubble and main YT channel, and 1 network per niche accounts. Plus backlinks.
The thing here is, I'll get dozens of unique links for Pinterest content with this approach.
4) After I'm done with the previous step, I'll create 4 niche Teespring storefronts with designs, and start to promote everything with all the above.
5) Planning to increase number of websites to upload designs.

So yeah. Ah, also methods to deal with covid19 in my country are quite inadequate, so I lost my job. Good news, I have enough time to work on this journey now.

I gave up on Merch by Amazon long time ago even though I managed to get the account. But your journey is making me look back at what was abandoned. Bookmarked and followed.

Just wanted to say I started following your journey yesterday. I've already had a few selling designs on Redbubble that get me a few pennies every month but nothing more than that. I uploaded a few designs to Redbubble and Teepublic. One design I uploaded today already made a sale! I wish I had the willpower to make more than two designs per day but I just don't have it in me.

Sorry i'm a little newbie in Seo, but what are "parasites" (google stacks related?), "ifttt rings" and "content syndication networks" ?

Thanks! I wish I have an MBA account (9 times rejected) :weep: Sure, mate, go for it. Merch is the gorilla in the room of pod marketplaces. Good thing.

Awesome journey! Following.

Thanks! I'm four-eyes for about 2 years, still prefer not to work in glasses. So default font size even for desktop is taxing for me

Thanks, mate. If it works for you - just scale it! You don't have to force yourself to make 2 designs per day, just start with a single scratch and go on:) It's is better to do something than nothing.

Sorry i'm a little newbie in Seo, but what are "parasites" (google stacks related?), "ifttt rings" and "content syndication networks" ?
Hey. Ifttt rings = content syndication networks, I put some links in this post:

https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/journey-road-to-1k-pod-designs.1170553/page-5#post-13040718

About parasites, there are dozens of threads on BHW like:
https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/parasites-pwn-leeching-from-authority-sites.702089/

https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/ama-ask-me-anything-about-parasites-2019.1096958/

Find some other threads from @710fla

The general idea - to rank low competition keywords using high DA websites.

@Stackz mentioned how he managed to rank POD parasite here:

Nah no need feel sorry....

Actually you still miss the main point.

@ Trustpilot site, you mention about half of them complaining. Infact it is VERY VERY SERIOUS issue. That is almost 50% NEGATIVE feedback. These group of customers is NOT happy at all. You think those customers are going to come back to your shop and buy again ? I don't think so. So, you are MISSING ALOT of returning customers in the future. :weep:

Secondly, 2017 CC Winner ? lol that was few years back ! HISTORY ! And does it mean it can always maintain good quality/service ?

Thirdly, out of 1370 customer review, there are 128 1-Star feedback. That is 10.7% Complaining !! IF includes the 2 stars, it is even WORSE.
For this, i am more concern of how many REFUND/COMPLAIN i am going to handle :(

Of course there is NO perfect company or human being.
Overall their customer service/quality = SUCKS.
I rather give it a miss than getting FREE HEADACHE....LOL :D
