This seems Really interesting! Always wanted to Try POD but never got round to setting up a store with designs I liked.

    Quick update.
I have been so busy with moving, and with my Fiverr endeavors that everything is at a stand still apart from getting some more designs prepared to list. One good thing is that as soon as we are ready we will have hundreds of designs to list right away.

We have been juicing the aff stuff so hard that it has kept me and two VA's busy full time. When something is working and you are making really good money the last thing you want to do is stop or slow down. In fact we are ramping up. I am finishing a project that will skyrocket our conversions by 2 or 3 times what they are now as well as being their own stand alone thing earning an income.

As soon as this is set up to where it's semi automated the plan is to hit the ads hard with the T-shirt business so hopefully I will be able to make up for lost time. Any hopes of making this holiday season is out of the window. I have more important priorities right now like getting a viable structure up before winter hits hard and getting over a mile of fencing up. Which trust me, is not fucking cheap! This is why I have been reluctant to take the gas off what's making the easy money right now. Easy money never lasts so I am trying to take full advantage while I can.

I swear this one will not fall by the wayside. We plan on having several POD T-shirt businesses set up in the next 12 months so there will be lots to come.

You've got some balls to go for T-Shirts in 2018, certainly interesting journey so far.
Have you considered to use Redbubble for a side shop? I set one up in 2014, and it's still passively making me 148$/month while I haven't touched it in over 3 years.

    All the best!

LOL you sound like my father. He says stuff like "but there are so many other people doing it" or "it's already been done"

Quite frankly that's the whole point. I can see its a lucrative industry and people always need clothes. T-shirts wont be dying out any time soon. I see shops on Etsy doing tens of thousands of sales and they do nothing special and in fact do plenty of things wrong. I'm sure there is room for one more :)

I totally hear you though and it is a thought that crossed my mind. As for other sites I will probably branch out at some point but I want to get situated on Etsy first before doing any of that. Thank you for the advice and it's great to hear that once things are set up properly there will be room for a nice little residual income.

The two T-shirt shops have become my wife's projects ready for next season. Due to the fact we are working a lot on our property and due to needing to invest in that, this is on the back burner, but the burner is still on so to speak.

We are in the preparation stage. I purchased 3 used silkscreen presses and a bunch of materials from a business that was relocating from eBay because I can see now that we will need to be making items in house if we want to compete and be profitable with the market we will be chasing after. And if we want to be competitive with shipping. Shipping items out fast is 90% of the battle so if your customers have to wait weeks to get items you're fucked!

So at this stage we are getting things in place to work smarter not harder.

I'll tell you this though. It will be a long road to get this Tshirt stuff to the point where we are earning as much from promoting the fiverr aff program. I now have 6 affiliate accounts running which are all bringing in well into the 4 figures each month. I don't know how long it will last for so I am juicing it as much as I can before they change their minds lol.

Thanks. With the ones we will be making and shipping ourselves it will probably be USPS and the ones we do through printful they will ship.

Influencers will be a good place to start if you want to go the affiliate marketing route. Facebook groups are also a great place especially if you have niche products because you can target people very easily that way.

Thanks, there are so many good threads I would not know where to start, every thread could have some golden nuggets of info in them though, you should scroll through a few of them, when you just scan through them it does not take long. Good luck to you as well.

Good luck with your shirt business, William.

Out of curiosity what are you doing on Fiverr you mentioned in earlier post?

    Cheers.

Would love to know more. I am scaling Fb ads these days for a million dollar sale/month target. If I'd a partner that handles SKU development, I can think of going way further into this.

Sorry for the lack of updates but until now there has not been a great deal to share. My wife started gathering up the designs she made last week and turning them into the mockups and linking them with printful. We now have one shop up and running with 240 listings and will soon have the second one up with a similar amount.

We have had several sales come in over this last week while testing the etsy ads. I think rather than upping the ad amount we will launch more shops so that we can make the same amount of sales with less spend.

Because it is completely hands off when the shops are set up we are going to use all of the designs we have to open more shops, basically selling the same thing but with a different mockup picture or pricing structure. Some will have free shipping, some will have really low priced items and high shipping etc. The reason for this is that we can get our parents and siblings to open shops in their names and set them up for them so that they all have a small residual income stream coming in without having to do anything for it. Also the more shops we have out there more chance we have of being see on the front page and the more sales we will make. if we have shops set up all using ads then we could even get 1,2,3 and 4th place on the rankings.

It's all just an experiment but with how hands off it is I see us making a dozen shops like this just to have a few hundred dollars a day coming with very little input from us.

Thank you. I might start a method thread for fiverr, it seems like there are a lot of people on BHW that use fiverr so as soon as I am covering most of the income I am getting from it with my new projects I will try and start a method thread for it. I'm not going to lie though that may take some time because I made more from Fiverr last month than most people make in a year here in the US so it's not something I want saturated just yet ;) However it is something I will share at some point.

I'm sure I'll be making lost of updates when I can, I hope they give you some ideas.

Thank you, good luck to you too.

No we actually made 6 - 9 dollars on them.

We are creating them ourselves, well my wife is. For inspiration we look at what is selling well in the top shops. We are however thinking of outsourcing to a VA on Fiverr. Now that we know the process a little more ourselves we will feel more comfortable handing it off to someone.

If that person wants to start a thread of his own he can do that. I would hate for this thread to be sidetracked with posts about different topics. If you want to learn about FB ads there is a section here on the forums for that. All the best

    @William702

Just a question im not getting enough traffic from Etsy

Can I ask you how and where are you getting your traffic from ?

I'm averaging 20 views a day and that's not enough
