Hey everyone!
I've been lurking on BHW for quite some time now, so I've decided to finally register my account and introduce myself with this journey.
About me:
I'm a 23-year-old guy from South-Eastern Europe with some pretty big goals. Ever since I was a kid I dreamed about making money through my PC. I've tried so many different tactics, ranging from Instagram botting, building Facebook pages, to e-Whoring, but even though some of those methods brought me money, they never brought that much joy into my life. At the moment I'm working as a social media manager for a big tech company, and since I've been a tech fan my whole life, I've decided to give my dreams a go and make a website in a technology niche. I know that this niche is a bit difficult, but I've found a great sub-niche within it that I actually personally enjoy so I believe that this website will bring me great joy while I work on it! Ever since I've found BHW, I've started learning about SEO, and I have to say that I've learned a lot in theory, but it's time to do it in practice!
Why now?
Well, I guess that the 20s are the best time to start doing something in your life because you're still young and you can afford to lose because nobody depends on you.
Investments
- 20 for a domain at the start of December
- 220$ for a VPS hosting (1 year)
- 60$ WP theme
- Around 400$ for articles (so far)
How will I do it?
My plan is to focus on high-quality content that's focused on solving specific peoples' problems in the technology niche. I've posted a job on Upwork a couple of days ago, and I've received 19 proposals. I've interviewed all of those writers, and I've decided to go with 4 of them since I really liked their writing style.
When it comes to SEO, I will be doing manual outreach to other tech-related websites. Since my job pays me fairly well, I'll probably invest 400$-500$ on backlinks per month. And when it comes to publishing, I'll be posting 2 articles per day on my website just to help it grow faster. Right now I have 54 published articles on my website.
Goals?
My ultimate goal is to get the site on Mediavine or Adthrive, which means that I'll need either 50,000 pageviews (Mediavine) or 100,000 pageviews (Adthrive), but I don't think I'll be able to do it at least until February 2023.
My goals for this year are the following:
That's it for now! I think I've said everything that I wanted to say. I wish you all the best of luck on your own journeys! Let's slay this together!
