The month of November was by far my best month so far. One company I worked with before launched a new product (worth multiple thousand dollars) and I got 9 sales from my link.
Today after work (I work part-time while going to Uni and make about 590€ every month) I received this email:
This equals about 3 monthly wages in my real-life job for me so seeing that I'm able to make this much money from one single page on my blog is honestly just crazy.
This really motivates me and I'll put even more effort into blogging moving forward.
I'll post my full update for the month of November in the coming days.

November was by far my best month so far. I turned ezoic ads on this month and it seems like my site makes about $1,5-3,00 per day on average which is better than I expected. The epmv in the image above is not correct as it includes the days in November when the ads were turned off. The average empv so far is a little under $20.
I'm struggling to find new topics for my site that I'm confident to outsource to writers. I'm contemplating starting a second site with a topic that would be easier to outsource and write all articles for this site myself.

I have decided to stop working on my site for now and start and a second site. The reason for that is that I want to reinvest my profits from my site into more content and with the niche my site has that's very difficult.
My site is split into two sub-niches. I write all posts for the first sub-niche and my writer all posts for the second sub-niche. Almost all profits from my site come from the posts I write, these posts are very hard to outsource as they require niche-specific knowledge. The posts my writer writers are on products from amazon (that are all less than 20 USD) and while they make an okay return ($100+ from Amazon this month) it's not great.
I have found a niche that doesn't require a whole lot of knowledge, it's product-focused (should therefore have a good epmv) and it has a lot of undeserved topics. I'm still searching for the perfect domain name for this site but I already have the outline for about 10 topics to outsource.
My plan for the next 2 weeks is to find a good domain name, set up the site and hire 2-3 writers.
For the long term I'd like to outsource all content writing for my new site, and get at least 30 posts published on there every month.
December has been a good month so far again, the site might even crack the $2k earnings again.

December was an insane month in terms of earnings again. It only fell short of November by $50.
The $2252.7 were from only 2 pages on my site which is just insane to me. According to ahrefs these two pages on my site get less than 10 clicks each month and combined they make as much as some people make in a whole month of honest work.
While this is very cool to make so much money with only 2 pages it also worry's me. It only takes one competitor of mine to outrank those 2 pages and 90% of my blogs income is gone.
January started of strong, I'm almost at $300 already.
I'm investing a lot of time into putting together a solid SOP for my content writers right now with the goal in mind to outsource at least 30 posts each month for my new second site.

yes, I have bought a few link packages from the marketplace when I first started the site but I don't think it was worth it tbh.
I'll start a new site soon and won't build any links to it as I really don't think you need them nowadays if you know how to do keyword research.
I'm not planning on selling it anytime soon as I have more ideas to write about.
Links is good but I think it is very hard to find good link providers and sellers. I know they are in the marketplace but not sure if the screenshots and ranking results they provide are manipulated or not.
Keyword reserach is important but I don't think it is possible to rank high for some keywords with thousands and more in serach volume without some external links. This depends on the type of keyword but what I mean is keywords with a buying intention.

I think keyword research is most important. If you find high paying keywords with low competition you don’t need to worry about links.
with links there are always so many factors that come in to play that you can’t control yourself, so I prefer to stay with low competition keywords instead of targeting high competition keywords.

You mentioned above that you use Ahrefs to measure the amount of monthly keyword clicks/searches (although perhaps it is inaccurate). Even keywords with only 10 clicks a month.
For you, what is the average monthly volume for a promising keyword with low competition?
You try keywords with, a maximum, of how much monthly volume (according to Ahrefs) ?
