Another record month in terms of earnings for my site.

If you follow this journey you'll know that I spent a lot of my time developing a solid process for my content production (SOP, keyword research etc.)

I can finally see the results of my time spent developing the workflow this month. I was able to double my post count from 31 to 62 in a month, and in the first 3 days of Feb I posted another 6 articles.

Over the next months, my plan is to outsource a lot of content and only write very few articles (those that have a very high earning potential) myself. I'll probably get my second site up to 50 posts this month, then I'll wait to see if traffic comes in. Until then I'll either have my writers write content for my first site or start a third site.

This week I bought a keyword research package from a well-known YouTuber in the blogging niche, surprisingly it was only 89 dollars. Apparently, he'll find me 25 undeserved keywords for my first site. I'm a bit skeptical as this is a really low price but as I'm struggling to find more topics for my first site I figured it was worth a shot.

Moving forward I want to judge my success by posts published by month. I had someone on fiver make me an ios widget that displays the current number of posts on my different sites and adds them together. I think this is a great way to motivate myself as I'll always have the current number of posts in mind. (it displays my sites favicon where the BHW logo is)

Great to see people succeeding! Did you build links to your site 1 or it's 100% content written?

Yes, I bought links from the marketplace.

My plan was to not buy any links for site 2, but after doing more topic research and seeing how many low dr sites there are in my niche I decided to spend a good amount of money on backlinks for my new site this month.

monthly-update(1).png

February has been the fourth month in a row where I made more than $2.4k from my site. Again, the majority of the income came from 2 just posts on the websites which worries me.

This month I was able to publish 30 posts again, most were written by writers, 2 of them on site 1 were written by me and are in the same category as my 2 high-paying posts. For both posts, I purchased the product and did an in-depth hands-on review which took a good amount of time however, the earning potential is high.

Unfortunately one of my three writers quit this month so I've been looking for other options. I've decided to try instead of hiring someone to pay on a word basis I'd this time try to hire someone full-time and train him/her to not only write blog posts but also to do internal linking for all my posts, setting featured images, and so on. So far I've found a philippine university student who I'm currently trying out. She only has the ability to work for 30hrs per week and asks for a higher salary as I wanted to pay but her English seems to be perfect.

Once I get my second site to 50 posts I'll probably have it site for a while to see if it gains traffic and is worth continuing. In the meantime, I'll either start a third site or get more posts on my first site, probably a combination of the two.
