Would love a critic of my GMB review strategy. After 36 hours it seems the reviews didn't end up sticking so trying to see where I went wrong.

Here's the weird part, the reviews to the OTHER random GMBs in the area end up sticking but the ones to my money GMB don't...

  1. Aged since 2014 gmail accounts
  2. 4g proxies tied to each
  3. 2 days worth of cookies across 40 sites on the same 4g proxy.
  4. Use private browser via Multilogin
  5. Changed Geolocation via browser to area.
  6. Gave numerous reviews of other businesses in the area at the same time.
So yeah, I'm not sure why the reviews aren't sticking. I think I need to take more time and give other local reviews, then wait a few days, then give my money GMB a review?
Any help would be appreciated.

I'll say 6. if all you do is write some reviews and forget the account till the next time you need to write more, that is not a very natural user behavior.

Well I had cookie bots running on the gmail for a few days beforehand...

What would you recommend then? How could I accomplish this on scale.

I'm in the same boat, our setup is identical to yours : multilogin + 4g proxies + geo located browsers + aged profiles + cookiebot. Tried new gmails, old gmails, doesn't matter - Google just long stroking us at the moment and I'm running out of hair to rip out :(

I've been asking around and it seems to be tied to the GMB being new.

I took an aged Google account for posting a review and posted 2 different reviews, one being my money GMB and the other a random business in the area. All using 4g proxy, geolocation, etc.

The random business review stuck, while mine has not.

This tells me that for a new GMB, you need really powerful gmail accounts for the first few reviews. With the hope that afterwards Google is more forgiving.

I can't say the information above is 100% correct, but given the random business review stuck it seems to be the case.

I don't think it's a problem with your setup, especially since the reviews stick to OTHER GMBs.
I think the problem is with the GMB you're targeting: it's either abused and Google has an eye on it or you're simply going too fast with posting the reviews on it. If Google knows that a GMB in that area & niche receives 1 review per month on average and the GMB you're targeting received 5 in just one week...here it is your problem :)

That could well be one way to do it, but there’s something else we’re missing because I’m able to purchase reviews from a vendor on new Gmbs and they stick just fine. I just can’t replicate it on my end just yet. The vendor accounts aren’t anything special as far as I can tell, most aren’t even local guides. No pictures , etc. So frustrating :)

Yea good point. Are your reviews not sticking to only new GMBs or to any?

well based on your earlier response, if they stick to other GMB but not yours. Your GMB must be flagged by google or maybe linked to the account you write reviews somehow.

May be insights are not strong of your GBP.
And now as you have tried many reviews and that are not sticking. May be your GBP is flagged by Google.
Wait for few weeks get strong insights searches of your business, call on your business, Q&A, directions to your business and much more after that try posting reviews.

Hopefully this can help you.

Update:

Next batch of tests didn't make a difference. I went 0/2 on reviews sticking but was able to get a Question successfully to stick on the third one Lol.

This was the schedule I followed, with the annoying bit that all the other "random" reviews have stuck to the businesses!

Another likely problem is I had purchased a bunch of reviews for this GMB, so there's too much noise for any result to be "accurate" right now. I'll need to do Test #3 on a different GMB.

Is your GMB considered as a spam niche? like garagedoor/locksmith/hvac?

This. I tried all the things that you listed for two different gmb. I came to conclusion that it checks the frequency and its sudden increase.

I tested 4 different review purchasing services and a few of them got reviews to stick (for now). Some of those reviews that stuck were on accounts with ONLY 1 review (the single one for my GMB).

So there's gotta be a method out there. I'm doing my test #2 right now

Google is really watching GMB reviews these days. If you have an established listing you can get away with quite a bit but if this is new you're going to have to let it age and acquire reviews with a more natural appearance.
