Review my blog & tell me whats the next step for it please!

During the spring I spent some time coding a theme for my Wordpress blog and now i have no direction in which to go with it. It is a HipHop/Electronic music blog. I had some traffic before the summer hit but once students where off campus the sites traffic hit rock bottom and I kinda just gave up. I still have the site up and I still want to move forward with trying to get its traffic up and eventually monetize it but I am completely lost. I don't have a strategy, plan, or anything of that sort to get this thing going. I truly believe it has a lot of potential. The only downside is that it is a .net domain. If any of you guys can guide me in the rite direction I would greatly appreciate it!

All thats missing is some seo. And honestly I've had little luck with hip-hop sites unless they let you download free albums. Hip-hop fans are broke, dance music fans are the ones with money.

You're rite but if i can rally up enough traffic I can do promo for artists, private banners instead of Adsense, sponsored posts, etc. Im not looking to make a fortune here but if i can make at least 50-100 bucks a day, i would be smooth sailing.

I am not listening to rap and similar genres but I have to admit that your site looks great and professional. Use a trustworthy SEO service here on BHW and I am sure your visitors will subscribe to your newsletter for sure.

Your site looks good enough, so Promote promote promote. Try a blog aggregation service like Outbrain or google reader

Your site looks pretty cool too dude. And no im not currently looking to sell theme. Im holding onto it being that it took me countless hours to code. lol. but if you are interested in exchanging promo, definitely willing to work something out!

Once I get more off the ground and get out of my development stage I'd be stoked to do some exchange in promotion. I might stick with the current theme after I touch it up A LOT!

yea, I figured this. But sometimes you get impatient and wonder if there are ways to expedite the growing of your traffic.

Good content really does keep repeat customers coming, In the past I have made websites gained loyal subscribers only to forget to add content. I left a lot of money on the table.
