What are the most effective backlinks today?

I want to purchase a fiverr gig to do some good backlinks on my site, but which is good to choice? wiki links, forum profiles, blog comments, article marketing?
please suggest me!

Try out different gigs on Fiverr - just be sure to do it wisely over time instead of buying up tons of gigs at once. Try the users that offer .edu and .gov backlinks, then try the ones that offer backlink pyramids. There are also some that offer backlink wheels, but I hear that Google is starting to crack down on those? Any one here have trouble with that yet?

Depends on your keyword. There are six thing I believe influence rankings with regard to links.

Anchor text
Link Juice/pagerank
Page segmentation (where your links are on the page)
Trust and Authority
IP Diversity
Niche relevance

Choose a keyword for example "Internet Marketing New York". Find out how many trust and authority the number 1 ranking has, find out how many different C class IP address they have pointing at their site. Get some relevant links from within your niche. Find out what the competitions do and mimic them. If it works for them it can work for you too.

Or just choose a service from fiverr and see if it works but its only pot luck.

High PR links seem to be the bomb right now. That is why you are seeing all these high PR networks popping up everywhere.

I have got one site with a PR 4. Since I have got that I have seen no benefit from it.

Pagerank is so out dated, don't be fooled by that old metric.

The most powerful and effectual backlinks at the moments are Contextual Backlinks from blogs networks like BMR - MAN - and some of BHW Members Also .... my all sites depend 50% on contextual backlinks from Blogs Network and i am making killing now adays
