Would you separate these 200 long tails into own pages or one page?

If you had 200 long tails for example

Cat product for peopling living in X

X being the variable that changes 200 times.

Would you have one page and list them all in the content somehow or would you make a new page optimized for each one? I can do this programmatically for 200 pages so pretend time and effort isn't an issue here.

Depends how long the article is. But I wouldn't try to target 200 keywords in 1 page. It would be really bad for onsite engagement,
I.E, somebody comes looking for keyword in London but has to scroll through 200 articles to find that information, they would probably leave almost straight away which would then have a bad impact on SEO.

In my niche people actually search "keyword in Brazil", "keyword in Argentina", etc and everybody has separate pages (some webmasters only change country and some spin words and paragraphs).

I'm doing this now, what tibirius mentioned above... posting 10 pages and monitor while manually spinning like 100 more pages.

I was impatient and built one for every location, 200 ish lols. 50% is manually spun as in my own spintax and 50% is copied from a source that won't care. Be interesting to see if google eats and serves it up.

If you were to put in a page the sentence "Cat product for people living in X" and keep the same words and change X 200 times, you'll probably get flagged as "keyword stuffing". That's not even considered a page of content but a spam page. The best would be to have 200 pages with original content, that is written naturally, and not something you program to repeat/recreate same pages. That being a long tail keyword, you won't need a lot of lengthy content. Even a short one, as long as it's original, not repeated and is supported by some backlinks, will rank you well.

This is what you do. Make one long article with a title something like "xx best gifts for cat people"

<image>
"Browse this article"
#anchor "Cat product for peopling living in X"
#anchor "Cat product for peopling living in Y"
#anchor "Cat product for peopling living in Z"
Etc etc
<Very long intro>

H2 "Cat product for peopling living in X"
"If you click on the following link, you can find all of our <Cat product for people living in X>. We listed some of our favorite choices bellow" (this link goes to another article dedicated to just X)
<some content, mostly amazon embedded links>

H2 "Cat product for peopling living in Y"
"If you click on the following link, you can find all of our <Cat product for people living in Y>. We listed some of our favorite choices bellow" (this link goes to another article dedicated to just Y)
<some content, mostly amazon embedded links>

H2 "Cat product for peopling living in Z"
"If you click on the following link, you can find all of our <Cat product for people living in Z>. We listed some of our favorite choices bellow" (this link goes to another article dedicated to just Z)
<some content, mostly amazon embedded links>

So now you've got an entire clustered article that links out to an entire clustered topic

This is sort of what I've done. Home -> index of living in pages -> page for living in X

Looks like a case study is brewing.

I'll keep the thread updated. Pages in this niche tend to do nothing for a few months first then rank, not sure it it's a "your money or your life" niche thing

Keep us updated, it's a good thing to know if google prefers a single article or 200 different pages.
